Only You

Reasons not to drink

(I recently decided to stop drinking almost completely so this is a list to keep me motivated. Tbh i def used to think people who didn’t drink were kinda boring but my perspective has really shifted and so far it’s a decision I’m really pleased with!)

-THE CALORIES THO (beer? Ya enjoy drinking a loaf of bread. Fruity cocktail? Basically a candy bar)

- insanely dehydrating

- water retention - makes you super puffy

- good luck having a productive day if you’re hungover

- late night drunk food - if you’re wasted you’re probably not going to be able to resist when your friends order pizza at the end of the night

-craving unhealthy food when you’re hungover

-sloppy isn’t cute

- drinks are expen$ive bruh

-REGRETZ

-blacking out - nothing like having your friends fill you in on all the embarrassing things you did last night that you don’t remember

- bad for your skin

- terrible for your health

- heightened anxiety is a common part of hangovers

- poor quality sleep

- alcohol temporarily stops your body from burning fat. Basically when you drink your metabolism has to stop what it’s doing to break down the alcohol first, with the result that whatever you recently ate gets stored as fat
